We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Scandic Park in Stockholm, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Upon entering the hotel, the lobby immediately set the tone for a warm and inviting stay, with modern décor and friendly, efficient staff creating a welcoming atmosphere. The variety of breakfast offerings was exceptional, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences. From wholesome porridge and a selection of cereals with an array of toppings to hot options like pancakes, waffles, meatballs, bacon, sausages, baked beans, and eggs, alongside yoghurts, breads, meats, cheeses, vegetables, salads, local pastries, and biscuits. You could pair it with a cup of loose leaf or packet tea of your choice or fresh-brewed coffee. Situated in the central part of Stockholm, Scandic Park provided convenient access to various attractions, with most of them within a 20 to 40-minute walking distance. Various tube stations were a mere 5 to 10 minutes' walk away, and bus stops were conveniently located just outside the hotel, making exploring Stockholm a breeze. The hotel's proximity to a beautiful park with winter sledding options allowed us to fully enjoy this winter wonderland daily during our stay. The surprise inclusion of a sauna, always available and free, added an extra layer of relaxation, especially thrilling for our 9-year-old, who isn't allowed in a sauna where we are from. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it for a well-rounded Stockholm experience.

This is the third time I have stayed in the Scandic Park. What I like the most is that it is right next to a small park, and about on the line where the business district meets the residential district, Stockholms parks are fantastic for running, and both the Southern and Northern parts of the very large Djurgarden park can easily be reached within a km or two. The hotel is within 15 minutes walking from many restaurants. The staff is very friendly. The room was very large for Stockholm standards, and the bathroom was very nice. The rooms are very quiet, and you hear nothing from the neighouring rooms or corridor. A bus to the central station stops about 50m from the hotel front door, and one going to the Skansen island right in front of the door. There is a nice sauna. Breakfasts are great, with a large selection of everything that you can think of. Very nice fresh croissants, unlimited coffee, warm pancakes, fresh fruit etc. There is a nice 7-11 right next door, and a large IKA (grocery store) about 500m away. In total, a really great place to stay if you do not need to stay downtown. I walked to the conference centre next to the central station every day, in about 30 minutes. Very nice route with only a few short areas in traffic.

All rooms had windows that could be opened. Something that seems to be quite rare in Stockholm. The location. Very close to the centre and the old town, but still very quiet, directly opposite a large park and on a quiet street. We always slept very well. The rooms all had a kettle (with tea and coffee), a hairdryer and an ironing board with iron. You could also fill the fridge. There was also a very comfortable armchair in the room where you could read or spend a few hours when it was raining. The breakfast buffet was very extensive and offered a wide selection. Whether sweet or savoury, Central European or British, there was something for everyone. The location was also inviting and you could sit outside. The staff were extremely friendly, polite and courteous, whether at reception, at breakfast or in the restaurant. You always felt welcome. Looking back, we definitely chose the right hotel for our stay in Stockholm. It couldn't have been better.

We stayed for 6 nights at this hotel and were very happy with our stay. Our room felt quite large even with the double sofa bed left permanently open, so we were very comfortable. We were very pleasantly surprised by the breakfast - there was a big range of options, including many healthy ones, and there was also the option to request a breakfast box to pick up and take away, which was particularly handy on a few days when we wanted an early start, and we were again surprised by how well stocked the breakfast box was! The location was a little far from most tourist attractions (30 min walk ish), however it was in a very nice, quiet area and we really enjoy walking through a city and getting to know areas a little further out so it worked very well for us, we were happy with our choice to stay here. There is also an excellent restaurant around the corner but make sure to make a booking well in advance.

Chain hotel in an upscale, quiet and central area of Stockholm. Early check-in was possible (based on availability). Late check-out possible (with additional fee) Clean and comfortable twin/double room, spacious shower cabin and good water pressure. The room can be darkened sufficiently. A/C works well and is silent. Decent hi-speed Wi-Fi (50/50Mbps). Good breakfast buffet with sufficient choice. (Due to eco/sustainability reasons, breakfast and housekeeping need to be booked a day ahead, latest before 11pm) Small section next to reception to buy snacks, additional toiletries and drinks. But there's also a convenience store, almost next door. A big city park in front of the hotel. Only 15 minutes walk to the downtown area. Plenty of restaurants and bars/coffee places within 5-10 minutes walk.
